Como terminamos o post de semana passada, em um tom meio preocupante eu achei que seria uma boa idéia escrever um novo post de hoje com os resultados dos testes que só fizemos hoje pela manhã.
Because of the slightly elevated fluid levels that we found out last week, we had to return for another ultrasound this week for reevaluation. In terms of pictures, this is definitely the best ultrasound we had so far. Even when I was pregnant with Zuri I had never had the opportunity of seeing his little face as clearly as I saw hers today. We even got to watch her open and close her chubby little lips for a while. The shape of her little nose appears to be similar to her brother's. What a blessing it was! Anyway, going back to the reason why we had the ultrasound in the first place, the fluid levels were still about the same. We had two different measurements one was a little lower (within range) and one was close to same as last week's. Although that is still considered high, this is definitely a good sign though. The fact that it did not increase over the last week and two days is promising. We will continue to monitor the baby by having NSTs just about every week until the delivery but besides that it is just a matter of sitting and waiting for those "real contractions" to start. In light of the results, the doctor does not feel comfortable waiting longer than the 40 weeks but hopefully she will be here sooner. The fact that i am still having contractions on and off points in that direction as well.
Por causa dos níveis de fluidos ligeiramente elevados que descobrimos na semana passada , tivemos que voltar para mais um ultra-som esta semana para reavaliação. Em termos de fotos, este é definitivamente o melhor ultra-som que tivemos até agora . Mesmo quando eu estava grávida de Zuri, eu nunca tinha tido a oportunidade de ver seu rostinho tão claramente como vi o dela hoje. Nós podemos vê-la abrir e fechar os lábios gordinhos dela por um tempo. O narizinho parace muio com o do Zuri. Que bênção que foi! Enfim , voltando para a razão pela qual tivemos o ultra-som em primeiro lugar , os níveis de fluido ainda continuam mais ou menos os mesmos. Tivemos duas medições diferentes um foi um pouco menor ( dentro da media ) e a outra foi praticamente a mesma que a da semana passada . Apesar de ainda ser considerado um pouco alto, este é definitivamente um bom sinal. O fato de que a quantidade não aumentou ao longo da última semana e dois dias é promissor. Vamos continuar a monitorar o bebê todas as semana até o parto, mas além disso é apenas uma questão de sentar e esperar pelas "contrações reais." Baseado nestes resultados, a médica não se sente confortável esperando mais tempo do que as 40 semanas , mas espero que ela esteja aqui mais cedo. O fato de que eu ainda estou tendo contrações aqui e acola aponta nesse sentido também.
In the meantime, we were finally able to finish up our room by putting up our headboard and rearranging to fit the bassinet and rocking chair. The baby's clothes has been put up in the closet and I made room in the dresser for a new set of diapers =D My hospital bag is also ready and waiting by the bedroom door. Both my mom and Marlon's mom are getting ready to come down for the big event in a few weeks. For me this is all getting real very fast! I am grateful for everyone's prayers and I hope you will continue to pray for us all. Can't wait...CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Nesse meio tempo, finalmente conseguimos terminar de arrumar o nosso quarto, colocando a nossa cabeceira e reorganizando para caber o moises e a cadeira de balanço. As roupas da bebê ja foram colocadas no armário e eu fiz espaco na cômoda para um novo conjunto de fraldas = D Minha bolca do hospital também está pronta e esperando. Tanto a minha mãe quanto a mãe de Marlon estão se preparando para vir para o grande evento em poucas semanas. Para mim, a realidade do evento esta se concretizando muito rápido! Agradeço as orações de todos e espero que continuem a orar por todos nós. Mal posso esperar ... MAL POSSO ESPERAR!!
