16 weeks and counting.../16 semanas e contando...

16 weeks here we are...Every day that goes by and we see the smallest hint of a belly we get happier! I guess we must be getting closer to showing now since we are 4 weeks away from half way there. Sometimes I think I can feel the baby move or maybe it is just the usual moving of my insides. After talking to the doctor today, she said it is probably the baby. I am excited to feel more and more as the days go by. I have been trying to convince the people at the doctor's office to find out the sex but they keep telling me it is too early (I know it is possible...maybe just not for their ultrasound technologist (-;) so I guess we'll have to wait until after Christmas. Lots of things going on right now...this week I had my last day at my current job and now the focus is on packing the house after all, the moving date is 2 weeks from today! Bonus: Check the end of this post (after the Portuguese section) for a recording of the baby's heart beat we heard today.

16 semanas aqui estamos nós ... Cada dia que passa e vemos o menor indício de uma barriga ficamos mais felizes! Acho que deve estar ficando mais perto de aparecer agora, como faltam apenas quatro semanas para chegar na metade do caminho. Às vezes eu penso que senti o bebê mexer, ou talvez seja apenas a comocao normal da minha barriga. Depois de falar com o médico hoje, ela afirmou que é provavelmente o bebê. Estou ansiosa para sentir cada vez mais com o passar dos dias. Tenho tentado convencer as pessoas no consultório médico para descobrir o sexo logo, mas eles continuam me dizendo que é muito cedo (eu sei que é possível ... talvez não para o técnico de ultra-som deles(-;) então eu acho que nós vamos ter que esperar até depois do Natal. Ha muitas coisas acontecendo agora ... esta semana tive o meu último dia no meu trabalho atual e agora o foco está na mudanca pois so faltam 2 semanas! Hoje na consulta podemos ouvir o coracaozinho do bebe batendo forte 145 vezes por minuto...quer ouvir tambem? Agente gravou so pra voces ouvirem...aqui vai...
